Panama City Artsits update by Heather

Panama City Artists Presentation and Meeting
"Art in Action 2010"
Tuesday, January 19 at City Arts Co-op
Arrive at 6pm for socializing, presentations begin at 6:30

Join us for an evening full of announcements from PCA Members and community guests about upcoming arts events, exhibits, and workshops.  You will learn more about the PCA Annual Show and Sale at the VAC, Downtown Festival of Arts, City Arts Gallery, Art in Public Places, and other exhibit opportunities.  You will also find out about upcoming art workshops, field trips, and social get-togethers.  There will be sign-up sheets at the meeting.  And, most important, this is your best opportunity to ask questions (How does Art in Public Places work?  Can I sell my art?) AND give suggestions about the upcoming year (Where would you like to exhibit?  What topics interest you for presentations?  What art workshop do you want on the schedule?).

If you cannot make it Tuesday at 6:30, please call or email me with your questions/suggestions.

A PCA 2010 Membership Application is attached and you can join at the meeting.  Membership is $30 for the year; many events are open to the public, but the best way to stay informed and take advantage of all the opportunities is to join/renew your membership.

Note: There will be some formal business following the presentations, including 2 PCA Board Recommendations- Scholarship and Best of Bay exhibitors, and PCA joining Downtown's Main Street organization.  Current members will vote on these issues.

Looking forward to an art-filled year,

Heather Parker
